For Healthy Aging & Fine Lines

Turn Back Time – Naturally

Supporting skin structure, function and regeneration without invasive procedures.

Fine lines, reduced firmness and changes in skin texture are not flaws, they are signs of time, lifestyle and biology interacting with the skin’s structure.

At SkinMed Solutions, we approach healthy aging of the skin as a biological process, not a cosmetic problem. Our focus is to support cellular activity, extracellular matrix integrity and tissue communication, using evidence based, non-invasive technologies.

Healthy Aging

From quick fixes to biological readiness

Many aesthetic approaches focus on isolated corrections – lines, folds or surface texture.
At SkinMed Solutions, we work from a different premise:
Skin must be biologically ready before it can regenerate effectively.

This means supporting:
• Cellular activity, energi, nutrients and signalling
• Microcirculation and oxygen delivery
• Structural support of the dermal matrix
• A balanced inflammatory response

We only recommend technologies which are selected to work with skin biology, not against it.

Technologies Commonly Used

Skin aging is not driven by a single mechanism — and therefore cannot be addressed by a single intervention.
When light-based and energy-mediated technologies are correctly designed, clinically validated, and applied with biological intent, they allow us to support skin structure, cellular activity, and long-term tissue function rather than pursue short-lived cosmetic effects. But also the correct preparation of the skin as well as treaments for supporting structural integrity of the skin and nutrients plays a key role

At SkinMed Solutions and InnoDerma Institute, we work with and recommend technologies that support fibroblast activity, microcirculation, and cellular communication, basically supporting the microenvironment of the skin – always evaluated on tolerance, repeatability, and their influence on long-term skin behaviour.

Below, you will find our evidence-based technologies frequently used as part of structured healthy aging and fine-line care. These technologies are used daily at our research clinic, InnoDerma Institute, and include:

Innoderma Aquapeel

HydroDermaBrasion

AquaPeel

The clinical focus is uneven texture, dry unbalanced skin, reduced glow and vitality and general preparation

Innoderma bioLED lysbehandling

In-clinic LED Light Therapy

Lumixa FLE Light Therapy

Lumixa is part of the FLE photobiomodulation platform, similar to Kleresca, but formulated in a slightly different way. The Lumixa series includes 3 unique gels, which can all be activated using the BioLED and Celluma LED systems, and which together provides clinics and patients a strong opportunity to:

  • Reduce redness and mild inflammation in the skin up to 80-85% (Lumixa Skin Normaliser)
  • Boost Collagen production through fibroblast activation up to 800% (Lumixa Collagen Booster)
  • Reduce the signs of aging and fine lines (Lumixa Age Control)

Light-induced photobiomodulation can influence cellular behaviour without causing thermal damage – making it suitable for long-term skin health strategies.

celluma ipro for acne aging pain

Home-Based & In-clinic LED Light Therapy

CELLUMA Advanced LED Therapy

Celluma Advanced LED Therapy is designed for both in-clinic and home-based use,
allowing continuity of care in inflammatory as well as general skin quality and ageing situations.
It is medical approved for Acne, Aging, Wound healing, Hairloss, Body contouring and Pain management

Low-energy LED photobiomodulation focuses on supporting cellular energy
production and tissue recovery while respecting the sensitivity threshold of
inflamed or reactive skin. Rather than driving rapid change, it helps create
the conditions required for gradual and sustainable improvement.

Bioregenerative Injectables scaled

BioRegenerative Skin Treatments

Suisselle Cellbooster & Profhilo

Bioregenerative injectables are designed to support skin quality from within, not by creating volume or altering anatomy,
but by influencing cellular activity, hydration dynamics, fibroblast and extracellular matrix behaviour.

Products such as Profhilo, Profhilo Structura and Suisselle Cellbooster are based on non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid formulations,
selected for their ability to interact with skin biology rather than act as traditional fillers.

For SkinMed Solutions and at InnoDerma Institute, bioregenerative injectables are typically integrated into
structured treatment plans, often combined with light-based therapies, and often Cellbooster and Profhilo are used together.

Product choice and protocol are guided by:

  • Skin quality and biological age
  • Degree of tissue fatigue or dehydration
  • Overall treatment strategy rather than isolated correction

Profhilo can be obtained directly from IBSA Nordic, whereas SkinMed Solutions can support you with Cellbooster supplies

Innoderma Dermapen

Mechanical Skin Stimulation

Microneedling & DermaPen

Microneedling is a biologically driven treatment that uses controlled micro-injuries to activate the skin’s natural repair and regenerative pathways. By creating precise, vertical micro-channels in the skin, microneedling stimulates fibroblast activity, collagen remodeling, and improved cellular communication within the dermal microenvironment.

Rather than adding volume or masking skin changes, microneedling works by re-engaging the skin’s own regenerative capacity.
The controlled mechanical stimulus enhances growth factor signaling, improves extracellular matrix organization,
and supports long-term improvements in skin texture, firmness, and quality.

At SkinMed Solutions and InnoDerma Institute, microneedling is used as a foundational regenerative tool,
either as a standalone treatment or in carefully designed combination protocols.
It is frequently combined with bioregenerative injectables, light-based therapies, exosomes
or active serums to optimize penetration, biological response, and clinical outcome.

Microneedling is particularly useful when the skin is uneven, scarred, requires a physical “breakup”
as part of the overall protocol – so very versatile towards many patients for ageing

SkinMed Solutions can guide you in the correct product choice of pen-needling device as well as serums,
including DermaPen supplied by MMSkinCare

Why combinations work better than single treatments
A structured approach, not isolated treatments

Skin aging is multi-layered – and so should treatment be.
Clinical experience and data consistently show that combined and repeated interventions deliver more stable and meaningful outcomes than isolated sessions.

Typical strategies may include:

  • Skin preparation and barrier optimisation
  • Photobiomodulation to support cellular activity
  • Structured treatment intervals to respect skin biology with injectables and/or microneedling

Continuity matters more than intensity.

Expert-led Consultations & Educations

Whether you are a clinic wanting to provide the highest quality treatments or a patient wanting to understand how to take care of your skin – we are here

Here a curated list of some of the most common questions – do not hesitate to contact us for further information or questions that you may have

What do you mean by “healthy aging” of the skin?

Healthy aging refers to supporting the skin’s structure, function and biological balance over time, rather than attempting to erase signs of aging.
Our approach focuses on maintaining cellular activity, extracellular matrix integrity and tissue communication – allowing skin to age more resiliently and predictably.

Are these treatments alternatives to fillers or cosmetic procedures?

Some of the technologies and treatments used can complement aesthetic procedures, but they are not primarily designed to create volume or alter facial anatomy.
Instead, they support skin quality, hydration, elasticity and regeneration – often forming the biological foundation that improves outcomes of other treatments.

What is the difference between bioregenerative injectables and fillers?

Bioregenerative injectables, such as Profhilo and Suisselle Cellbooster, are designed to support tissue function and skin quality, not to sculpt or volumize.
They come with their own distinct functions and are not acting in the same way – however they both interact with the dermal environment by improving hydration dynamics, cellular signaling and matrix behaviour, and nutrient flow, rather than mechanically filling lines or folds.

Is microneedling damaging to the skin?

When correctly performed, microneedling is a controlled and regenerative intervention, not a damaging one.
The micro-injuries created are intentional and precise, why the choice of the apparatus matters more than is being mentioned online. We only recommend equipment that is well tested and providing beneficial and controlled micro-injuries. Controlled micro-injuries trigger repair pathways that stimulate fibroblasts, collagen remodeling and improved skin texture over time. Especially suited for rough skin, acne scars, c-section scars and much more

Treatment depth, frequency and combinations are critical and should always be tailored to skin condition and biological readiness.
InnoDerma Institute together with MM SkinCare provide certification training and courses in microneedling

Why do you often combine multiple technologies?

Skin aging is multifactorial. No single treatment addresses all biological aspects involved.
Combining technologies, such as light-based therapies, mechanical stimulation and bioregenerative injectables, allows us to support skin function from different biological angles while respecting tolerance and recovery.

Combination and continuity often matter more than intensity.

How many treatments are typically needed?

This depends on skin condition, age, lifestyle factors and treatment goals.
Most regenerative approaches are delivered as structured treatment courses, followed by maintenance sessions. Skin biology responds gradually, and meaningful results are often seen over weeks to months rather than immediately.
We always train our clinic partners, and also provide patient specific guidance based on proper patient evaluation and where available also customized plans based on skin analysis

Are these treatments suitable for all skin types?

Most of the technologies used are suitable for a wide range of skin types and conditions.
However, proper assessment is essential. Active inflammation, certain medical conditions, or unrealistic expectations may require adaptation of the treatment plan – or postponement.

Are the technologies medically approved?

All technologies and products presented here are medical-grade and CE-marked according to their intended use and approved indications, provided by reputable certified companies.
We always recommend the use of clinically validated technologies applied by trained professionals.

Can these treatments prevent aging?

No treatment can stop aging.
What these approaches can do is support skin biology, reduce functional decline and help the skin adapt better to intrinsic aging and external stressors.

Healthy aging is about resilience, not reversal.

Where are these treatments performed?

These technologies are used daily at our research and training clinic, InnoDerma Institute, and by selected professional clinics working with SkinMed Solutions.
Treatment availability may vary by clinic and country.
We do welcome new clinics to carry these treatments following proper assessment and training.
